1)Your Armory Link: TBA (Paladin: almost everything ret BIS from Ulduar pre-general/yogg hardmodes. Comparable holy gear. With the xpac here soon, it might not matter all that much.
2) Referred By/Friends with: Everyone ex-reign. I have been on the server from shortly after launch. I’ve crossed paths with many of FS peeps in one aspect of the game or another.
3 a) Prior Guild(s): Reign
3 b) Reason for leaving: TL;DR inc: Shunyata and myself started Reign on April 2007. We believed in running a guild with positive reinforcement and keeping an environment that is enjoyable for everyone seeing how we came from an environment that taught us everything we knew we didn’t want to be a part of. We tried to keep it a “family.” I was the GM and the raid leader for the entire 2.2 year duration of the guild (others helped here and there. Some already had it (impatient) others I trained to lead raids (Crazedhuman) as anyone who regularly leads raids knows, to effectively lead a raid, its much more in depth than “point and shoot”). I kept pushing people to do better, strive for the best possible output their toon/spec could produce. I spent my own time studying other classes to see how I could fine tune Reign’s players and posted many guides for them on how to maximize their play style. That’s just how I am. I don’t enjoy being mediocre. I definitely don’t enjoy being mediocre in an environment that is competitive. I want to be the best and play with the best. That’s just the kind of person I am and that was the agreement of mentality for anyone who joined the guild. I would hope somewhere in the history of Draenor, there is a page in there dedicated to Reign and the progress we had. We started with 10 people and became what we were at the end. We may have never claimed a #1 spot, but we did well and we worked, and we worked hard for it. If anything, I was able to provide a home away from home with people I know I will never forget and always keep in contact with.
I am no longer in the Military, but due to a situation that arose Military related, I had to leave immediately. Unfortunately, me leaving started a snow ball of core players quitting the game as well and Reign was disbanded. I am back from the situation I had to deal with and am currently exploring my options. I don’t want to lead, or even have a voice anymore in game. I was a chief for way too long and am very ready to just be an Indian. I would just like to Raid with good people and strive to be the best.
3 c) Contact at most recent guild: The ex-Reign people currently in FS. ----- 4) Tell us about your skill and how you play your class (Don't be afraid to use details): As stated above, I don’t like being mediocre. I love competition (NOT read: be the top line of a meter. I know all to well there are other factors that heavily weigh in on performance that may not be reflected by a line on a graph) I honestly am not trying to come off as cocky or vein, but my personal opinion of myself was that I could not push my people to be the best and better them self unless I was the best by example. I am a stat nerd. Im the guy posting all the math on elitist jerks forums and understanding exactly how abilities effect each other for the most optimal performance. Your current members I was guilded with can verify this: I maintained top dps as a rogue from Kara to Sunwell. In Wotlk as a Paladin I lead healing when I was holy, and lead dps as a ret pally, all of this being fight dependant obviously. That’s just the kind of performance I wanted to give and get back from our members. Some people are good at golf, some people are good at drawing, somehow I ended up being good at videogames. (Of all the things you make people excel at, thank you for this wonderful life altering ability God. Right? Sigh.)
5) Do you take orders and constructive criticism well? Absolutely, I believe its necessary.
6) What is your Real Life Age? 28
7) What time zone are you in? Central
8 ) Anything at all you'd like to say in conclusion: 1) I am very big into the pvp aspect of the game. I achieved Gladiator with Pteargriffin 2 Arena seasons ago in 2v2, and was rated enough for Gladiator last season with Benhiah and Belzaar in 2v2 and 3v3. In BC I played with many people and was on several 2k+ teams with my Rogue but was not as involved as I was after BC. I am not sure of FS outlook or involvement in pvp, be it world or arenas, but I would be able to help with involvement in that area. I wasn’t 100% sure I was going to come back, but after talking to my friend Pteargriffin, we both decided to come back for arenas. (Ptear was a shadowpriest from vanilla to BT and a DK for WotLK if anyone knew him. He’s coming back as a warlock this time.) We would also be looking for a 3rd for the next season in the 3v3 bracket after Xpac depending on what’s viable. (We want to get into the tournament realms and see what we can do there)
2) Other than FS, there isn’t really a guild I would be interested in joining on Draenor. I would greatly appreciate if you would let me know when you make your decision so I can decide if server transferring is the route that would be best for me.
3) Again, please don’t take my application as cocky. I am just trying to be upfront and honest with you. I am very much so not an arrogant or cocky person, so please don’t come to that conclusion from my app. Im actually a very friendly laid back guy. I know when I was the GM of Reign I was very hesitant of accepting previous leaders from other guilds due to the possible drama they could bring from wanting to do things their way. I want to ensure you that I want 100% no involvement in any type of decision making, in any area. You won’t have a problem with me “subtly suggesting things” or any other type of head strong problems that you might be wary of. I feel it’s my turn to get to sit back and just be able to play the game.
4) Armoy link is not available due to mid faction changing.
5) Sorry for the length, but I always hated people who wanted to be a part of Reign and didn’t act like they cared in the application. We spend more hours playing this game then most people spend with their own families, there should be some effort put in when you want to join someone else’s family away from family. Just my outlook on it anyway. I just wanted to make sure you knew what you will get from me and where I came from. Thanks for your consideration.

Edit: I know throwing in a new toon at the end of a progression block is headaches all around. I wouldnt be opposed to being accepted as a part time/social invite until xpac launches and everything gets restructured. I can help out here and there as needed. Id actually prefer it for now.

hmm and here we've become so accustomed to DEing spellpower plate...
srsly tho, thank you for the well thought out and thorough app (too many people treat it like a haiku these days.) somehow i do have a few questions not covered in your app, is there a good time for us to have a little heart to heart?
as for your edit, right now we're looking for a fulltime raid member to heal through the last few encounters in ToGC and then through Icecrown when 3.3 launches in a month or two. Xpac is a little too far in the distance to be planning for at this juncture.
Thank you for the quick response Khaela. I should be home this evening. Ill give you a shout in game. Also, my mistake on xpac. I was told it was supposed to be out in the next month or two. I litterally just got back and logged on for the first time two days ago. My edit was more out of respect. I know what its like adding a member, for whatever the reason, at the end of progression periods. Its normally not enjoyable for anyone. However, if you need a full time healer/ret, thats a different story all together. Ill see you in game. Thanks again.
I haven't raided with him at all, but I've had nothing but positive interactions with Dooms since we used to chat when he played his rogue. Also, if his ability to fellate gnomes is anywhere near as impressive as the suction produced by Ptear's mouth, I think we have a winner.
Dooma is just one of those players/leaders in game who is a great player at whatever class he chooses to play. I have seen him dominate pvp on his rogue and his pally. Have seen him heal with the best of them and RET with the best of them. He is very aware of his surroundings during raids and is a very skilled and knowledgeable player that is able to look beyond his own toon during the heat of the battle.
I fully support his return to Draenor and his application to Forgotten Souls. Dooma and I talked just the other day and I encouraged him to apply. He is a mature player who dislikes drama and in regards to his personality I think he would fit in well with the guild. He has my personal respect for all the sacrifices and things he did for "Reign".
It looks like Khaela is on top of things as usual!

I'm relatively sure both the Native Americans AND the Eastern Indian people of the guild are horribly offended by that statement and likely won't stand for such blatant racism! Ever since my use of the term "darkie" when describing the twins' orbs of color was taken completely out of context by you bastards, I have decided to become the guild champion of all things politically correct, starting now.
Honestly though, great app . FS is a great place to be, with a lot of part-time and ex-chiefs lurking about.

Doom, I believe part of the Holy Pally's job in FS is to shout out "THAT'S BULLSHIT!!!!" on vent at the appropriate times. Would you feel comfortable doing that?
Seriously though, don't feel as though we at FS ever look at gear, well maybe a little just to be sure you know what you're doing, ie. no SP gemmed in a Huntards gear etc... Our philosophy is to recruit the player, not the class, or in this case, gear. Like Khaela said, we have a plethora of SP plate being sharded on any given night.

Im kinda suprised after being around this server for so long that ive never bumped into (or cant recall for that matter) Dooma. Although its the ones that are not involved in drama that you never hear about. That aside however what a wonderfully put together app.

Oh, and speaking of the military, you might wanna watch out for Cog's dishonorable discharge

Beaten to the thread by many other, but yea, very nice app. I would ask all the detailed playstyle/healstyle questions that you are supposed to ask a healer, but we know it all comes down to this for paladins anyway, amirite?
Great app, I agree with many if not all of the statements you have made. Also I appreciate the time you took to fill out the app and explain your situation.

Being good at a game like WoW indicates a couple of things. You strive to be the best you can, and are intelligent enough to understand how a little due diligence goes a long way. With formal education being so limtited in what is taught and how, it doesn't surprise me that more young people don't realize how important it is to do your own research about the important things. Take for example, how few people know much of anything about legality, or the details of fiat banking; is it any wonder that corruption within these systems has gone unnoticed by so many with no one really doing their homework before subjecting their lives to these systems?
Many of the true Wayshowers have been excelling at WoW and other games because that is what we do. The final motions are underway for the public disclosure of political/banking criminal activity and the restoration of Peace, Prosperity and Enlightenment for everyOne. NESARA is a summation of the moment when Humanity steps over the line completely, and our society transforms incredibly. At that time, there will be a place for people like us to do our thing, which is the same thing we are training for through games; leading people to better themselves, looking forward and the competition of claiming first loots from progression, and of course joking around and having fun while doing all that. People like us will want to participate more irl when the truth comes out, because our own success will not come at the expense of others or our planet's well being, and we won't have to lead imbalanced lifestyles where work dominates our schedule.
People like us make it easy and fun to succeed, and that is why we are the leaders of tomorrow's trancendent society, proving it time and again today in a virtual world.
