1) Your Armory Link: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-shee ... &n=Jejouie
Please note I may be in enhancement gear for questing, I also have a full raid quality elemental set. I will endeavor to log out in my healing set.
-----
2) Referred By/Friends with: I know Farling, and Shayleigh (if you were clever enough to recruit him)
3 a) Prior Guild(s): Afternoon Delight, Kul Tiras; Relentless, Draenor
3 b) Reason for leaving: Sadly the guild master and his best friend, 2 of our three officers AND our 2 main tanks, are quitting the game. Kul Tiras is a very small server, 3 of the top raiding guilds have just imploded, so there are no raid spots in stable guilds. I left Relentless and Draenor to play with my son on Kul Tiras (who promptly quit).
3 c) Contact at most recent guild: Flinn (guild master), Zordak, Elstur (officers).
-----
4) Tell us about your skill and how you play your class (Don't be afraid to use details): I prefer healing over dpsing on a shammy, and I am quite comfortable taking on any healing role in a raid. I am not meter crazed. I am happy to tank heal or dispel without anguishing that my numbers don't match the holy priest. With the changes to resto shammies in the last patch I no longer think we are a gimped class, but I remain hopeful that blizzard will recognize a need to tweak us a little more :). I would say I am a pretty good player, situationally aware enough to survive, for example, at Sarth3 25, Firefighter 10, Algalon 10.

5) Do you take orders and constructive criticism well? I love to learn and improve. I am looking forward to playing with new people (where ever I land) so I have to opportunity to expand my skills. Constructive criticism I love...abuse is not tolerated.

6) What is your Real Life Age? Old enough to join Cougars on parade.

7) What time zone are you in? Pacific

8) Anything at all you'd like to say in conclusion: I am specifically looking for a raid spot, but I am quite prepared to earn my place. I know myself well enough to ensure you know that I will get restless if sat. I would have to say I am good enough that this rarely happens for any length of time. ALSO! I am leaving for a 2 week holiday to southern France on the 26th of September until October 10th. I would love to transfer and get settled if you think you have a place. I would also appreciate any recommendations of other high end raiding guilds on your server if you don't.

Thank you Jejouie. Well done application and I'm sure the other officers will be taking a look at it as time allows, not all have the luxury of browsing forums at work like I.

To answer a couple of implied questions. FS is not a place of abuse, in fact, as someone who's had experience in a number of different raiding guilds I can tell you we frown on the sort of belittling and verbal attacks that seems rampant in some guilds, both on Draenor and other servers. Also, we don't recruit people to sit, our raid roster generally hovers near 30 people. Anyone on the raid team gets significant play time though naturally we do sit people based on performance and gear as needed to progress as a guild.

We are looking for a resto shaman to join our ranks and being able to step right in to TOGC without needing to gear up is a strong plus. A good ranged dps offspec is also beneficial given the tight enrage timers and melee-prejudice of most recent content.

EDIT: Turns out Khaela does have the luxury of browsing forums at work and beat me to the punch.

I've played with him on several occasions before he xfer'd off server. Mostly just heroic 5mans when BC came out (when there were actually kind of challenging), but she's a great healer with a good attitude. Plus we need another Cougar in here besides hodie.

I will get on one of my low level toons this evening to have a chat. If all goes well I will probably move Jj to Draenor on Sunday, along with her supporting cast of flower pickers and miners. :)

Were you ever in a guild called Elemental on Draenor? Your name sounds familiar.

I was in Idontwanttojoinyourguild and Relentless when I was on Draaenor. I arrived playing on my mage Gamine, Jejouie became my main as soon as she hit 80.

Hey Jejouie! :)

I had the pleasure of running heroics with her and farling! She was respectful and cordial to everyone in the group. She did a great job of healing and always kept the pug's who grouped with us alive when they noob'd it up. I would suggest visiting with her and offering her a trial spot. Looks like Khaela is on top of things!
